Carte Blanche is a card trick that requires a full deck of cards and a blank face card. The performer shows the deck face up and slightly angles it to reveal the blank face card without exposing the indices or numbers. The performer tells a story about performing for a blind person and reveals that the entire deck is actually blank. The trick pays tribute to magician Darryl Easton, and his alias Daryl Martinez. To perform this trick, you have a few options. One of them is to use the last two cards as a single unit, which includes the blank card. As you go through the deck of cards, you can display them on the table and pick up another section of cards. At this point, you will need to call out the card from the bottom of the deck while simultaneously executing a move to place it somewhere in the centre of the deck. You can continue to show the cards on the table while secretly manipulating the deck until the chosen card is in the centre of the deck, ready for the reveal.
