If you want something that’s like the ambitious card but maybe you don’t want to go through the whole ambitious card routine a mystery in time is the trick to do. It’s just great.

Quick ambitious card routine with a small packet combined with a card transposition (courtesy of a Brother Hamman move). This is the last half of a Mystery In Time by George McBride--in the full McBride effect, the Jokers mysteriously appear and the mystery card mysteriously appears between the Jokers. The ambitious card packet trick and transposition are the second half of the full McBride trick, but the most powerful part of that routine, so this definitely stands alone. As always Carey is an excellent and patient teacher and Craig adds a lot to the explanation as well. Well worth learning and a real fooler.
